ROPE BRAKE (download pdf brochure)

The ROPEBRAKE is designed for fast and safe hoisting and lowering of mine trailing cables
at haul road towers. The ROPEBRAKE pivots 180º to give a directional pull on the rope.
The heavy-duty construction and self-braking mechanism provides maximum safety.
Maintenance-free - never wears out.

CABLE TOWERS - Used to suspend mining power cable over roadways.

Our durable cable towers are available in various heights to satisfy customer requirements. Towers include Rope Brakes, Cable Buns, Yarding Blocks, 7/8" Nylon Rope, Rope Tie-Downs, Reflective Tape and with a solar powered strobe light on the top (optional).
Tire used for the base support is not included. Optional Steel Skid is available in place of tire. Shipped in 20' sections and assembled on site

ALL-ALLOY BLOCK

Our blocks are designed to be used on the top of the cable crossover towers to support the
CABLEBUN and cable. Used with our ROPE BRAKE and nylon rope, this system facilitates easy cable hoisting and replacement.

The entire block made from heat treated alloy steel and has an easy-opening feature to allow
quick installation of the nylon rope. The Ultimate Load is 4 times the Working Load Limit.
Includes pressure lube fittings for increased life.

CABLE SADDLES / CABLE BUNS (download pdf brochure)

CABLE BUNS are manufactured from hardwearing polyurethane that is impervious to most weather conditions. They will provide years of maintenance-free service when properly selected and correctly installed.

CABLEBUNS are lightweight and easy to handle and each two-ply latex-treated nylon sling is selected to ensure a 5-to1-load factor for increase d safety. When lifted by the sling, the sling tightens around the CABLEBUN and cable. The CABLEBUN is lined with a carbide friction strip to ensure the cable does not slide.

Each CABLEBUN is designed to meet the minimum bending radius of the cable being used.

Several models are available to fit cables from 60mm - 119mm.

CABLE STANDS

Universal CABLE STANDS have been designed to support and identify trailing cable when used with draglines, shovels, drills, pumps and other mining equipment. Lightweight, stacking, and in many color options, they accept cable up to 4" in diameter.

SHOVEL SATELLITE BALL AND TRANSPORTER (download pdf brochure)

A Shovel Operator's "Man On The Ground". The shovel's trailing cable is attached to the satellite ball allowing the shovel operator to move the trailing cable without any assistance.

CABLE CROSSOVER MATS (download pdf brochure)

The ultimate cable crossover protection for power cable ranging in size from 1" to 4.5” in diameter. Cable fits into a slot in the Power Mat allowing heavier equipment to pass over the cable without damaging the cable.
